Here’s looking at you…..
Last Saturday we were invited to photograph Lori and Michael’s wedding. It was especially fun as they also happen to be friends and were at our wedding last year. These two have constant “love radar” going on! It’s great to work with a couple who are so close and constantly smiling and cracking each other up. Thanks for the wonderful experience! Can’t wait for you to see ALL of the images…..be prepared it may take all night!
I know, I know, it’s been since September 2! Here’s a sampling of some of my favorites from my Julianna and Russell’s wedding on Kauai! Sorry it has taken so long, but you know how it goes, a painters house never gets painted etc.! We had a great time and they are so happy and cute. Russell, thanks for making my daughters dream of a romantic wedding come true! Let’s go back and spend more time on the beach and in the water!
Jaelynn is really fun baby! She has been enjoying our Tiny Toes Club by being photographed every 3 months for her first year! This is her one year photo with her birthday cake…..and did she enjoy that! It’s always a new experience with each baby, some have no idea what to do with a cake all to themselves. Not Jaelynn! She took to frosting like a fish to water! She did wear more than she ate, but that’s half the fun! Happy Birthday Jaelynn!
Evan is one of our favorite babies! We have been photographing him since before he was 3 months old! Here is a photo of Evan getting aquainted with Blue, one of our resident Easter Bunnies for our Bunny Photo special which was held March 7th and 8th. This was our second year photographing children with live bunnies. It is so much fun, watching the children with the bunnies, especially when the bunnies decide to jump and bound across the room with Jan chasing them! They really think that is funny (both children and bunnies!). A week later we took Evan’s 6 month photos! He is a little fireman at heart. Thanks Evan for being such a cute “model”!
Catherine and Katri were in for Katri’s first baby portraits. So with such a beautiful mom, we had to do some of the two of them together. This is my favorite from the shoot. It is so fun to watch the interaction between mom’s and babies! Catherine and Glen are both very proud of Katri, as is big sister Caitlyn! If you’re interested in building locally, Glen is the man! Pregnant women are so beautiful! There is something about expecting a baby that brings out the emotion of the madonna, and photographing this time in a woman’s life is very special. I often hear women put themselves down when they are pregnant, saying that they are “fat” etc. This is the time that looking round and soft is a good thing! And there is a wonderful, miraculous reward at the end. A new little life, full of promise and love. On Sunday we photographed a beautiful wedding at the El Rio Country Club for Templa and Jason. It was perfect weather, aside from a little wind, and as usual the scenery at the El Rio provided a wonderful backdrop for photography. Templa was one of the most relaxed brides we’ve ever worked with. She and Jason laughed a lot and had fun at their wedding, you could feel the love and friendship between them and the love and blessings of all their family and friends. Best wishes for a life of love, laughter and excitement for Templa and Jason.
Our 2nd Annual Easter Bunny Special is coming up soon. Last year was a hoot with two sweet bunnies, Mountain Dew and Thumper, provided by the Kingman 4H Club. These bunnies were so gentle, used to being handled, and VERY patient with being “loved” by little ones! I still get a giggle looking at some of the images! Our featured bunny portrait shows what can happen when a toddler bonds with Mountain Dew. Like I said, it was a lot of fun and to be honest I think we had as much fun as the kids did. This year our days are Friday March 7th and Saturday March 8th, this special is by appointment only and appointment times are limited, so book early to hold a spot! We’re looking forward to another funny bunny season

We had fun photographing this handsome young man who is a body builder and personal trainer. What muscles! Makes us want to get back to the gym, like we’d ever look that good. Dallas is a Certified Personal Trainer at Mad Dog’s Fitness in the Riverview Mall right next door to our studio, so we have no excuses!!! Dallas has been working out for 2 years and it really shows. He says he works out mainly to stay fit, but that he is considering body building competition and possibly some modeling.
